Meet Hanna Lindholm, a true West Coaster
Our newest addition to the Huski Wear team, project manager Hanna Lindholm, was born and raised on the Finnish west coast, in the small, Swedish-speaking town of Korsnäs. With two athletic parents, who met each other through sports, and growing up in a house where the public athletic facilities were just around the corner, it’s no exaggeration to call Hanna’s childhood extremely active. Horses and track and field in the summer, and cross-country and alpine skiing in the winter.
Finland has a strong tradition of designers and entrepreneurs putting quality first. The mentality is very typical for the country as a whole – always performing on top – which is a great fit for someone with Hanna’s winner instincts. Hanna's interest in clothes got her into the clothing industry, via a designer degree. Her interest in clothes is characterized by what she calls herself: a material nerd.
"It’s incredibly exciting to work with clothing because I get to focus on the materials," says Hanna. "It's something that can always be altered and developed. How the material behaves, how it’s constructed, and how it feels are factors that all contribute to making a garment interesting."

Hanna Lindholm, Huski Wear Project Manager
Growing up in a Swedish-speaking part of Finland made the transition to the neighbouring country in the west easy. After swapping the Finnish west coast for the Swedish one, Hanna finally settled on a small island just outside of Gothenburg.
"There are no cars here," Hanna says. "And no bridges to the mainland, just the sea. And the sea is where I charge my batteries."
Hanna has worked for several companies in the Gothenburg-area fashion industry, focusing on different segments such as children's, women's, men's, sports, and sailing to name a few. No matter where or in what role she's been working, she always ends up at the heart of things, her natural place. She's usually the one with the overall perspective, making sure that the client's requests are fulfilled.
